We're very pleased to present this remarkable, fully restored Mercedes-Benz 280 SL for sale to the open market.

The vehicle is finished in the original colour combination of Thistle Green over Pine Green interior and has been meticulously restored by a Mercedes-Benz main agent in recent years.

Restoration works included the all important work to the bulkhead & chassis legs, as well as a bare metal respray + a full mechincal overhaul. all 4 wheels are unmarked and are shod by a matching set of Avon tyres. As part of the restoration, the radio was replaced with a period Blaupunkt Bremen system which looks inkeeping, yet offers USB and enhanced phone connectivity.

The vehicle is to be supplied with the factory supplied Thistle Green hard top and a ring binder folder which documents the restoration with a collection of progress photos and itemised invoices.

It is a 'turn key' example and is ready to be enjoyed immediately by the next owner. Another bonus is that it now qualifies for 'historic status' so is now ULEZ exempt.

The registration number of 'SL 9752' is not included within the sale but is available subject to separate negotiation.

We provide a 6 month warranty with all vehicle sales, included in the purchase price of the car. A standard admin fee of £99 applies to all vehicle purchases. This is to cover the cost of all provenance checks to ensure the car your buying has no adverse history. We will waive this admin fee if you opt to take out an extended warranty, for most cars this is charged at £399 for every 6 months additional cover
